Do not look here for salvation. I am a mere man. The Son of Man, our Lord and our God Jesus Christ can be found in the towering constructions which, hopefully, remain abound around where you are. Find a mass.

This website serves as a repository of my writings on the Christian faith. I am a Roman Catholic with a strong interest in Eastern theology. I wish to embue all my readers with intense curiosity for the mysteries of the faith, and otherwise explanations for the matters which can be answered rationally.

Do not stand afraid to believe. You may read the innards of the faith, see its beauty and feel its attraction, and woefully think that you cannot believe. Perhaps you believe to be too rational, too skeptical, too "aware" of the deeds of the Church, too outside the faith, or too outside the tradition. However, this is not the case. All men are called to God, and all men are capable of believing. It is written in the scriptures (Matthew 7:7-8):

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

If you knock on the Lord's door, if you try to find him despite your doubt and skepticism and anger, he will open the door to you, as he has done for me. You may be millions of miles off the path and the lifestyle chartered by the Church, but you may still find him, for he is not far from you. You only have to give him a chance, and knock on his door. Do not be afraid if you do not yet believe, because it is written in the scriptures (Mark 9:23-25):

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

Tell the Lord that you wish to believe, and he will help you. Start looking for him, and you will find him. Knock on his door, and he will open it to you. Go to mass, despite your doubts and skepticism, and you will soon find the seed of belief in your heart. The wish to believe is the first step, and the Lord will help you, as long your intents are sincere.

For now, be armed with this prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Repeat it in situations of doubt and skepticism, at the peak of your anxieties and fears, and when you are happy and joyful. It is twelve words, uttered in a breath, and yet it is one of the most powerful prayers. Remember it and use it forever.
